More often than not, our clients either purchased not enough wallpaper, wrong or very low-quality wallpaper. A common mistake we see is the measurements not equating to the amount of wallpaper needed due to patterns and wastage, among other things. Also, falling in love with a design without knowing about the company is another mistake; certain companies we refuse to install due to their poor quality, which leads to all sorts of issues. We no longer install peel-and-stick wallpapers. These wallpapers have poor adhesive and need to be up to industry standards, giving us very little room for adjustments that affect the installation. Also, the adhesive loses bond if temperatures rise above 83 degrees resulting in the material peeling off.
